After a horrendous fire jemima runs away to the isolated Isle of Sky, where she becomes a teacher for a girls school. When there she starts to finally question what really happened that night of the terrible fire. A few weeks after she arrives a strange box of Frozen Charlotte doll paper addressed to her. She starts to get flashbacks of some terrifying things related to what happened the night.

Meanwhile the dolls seem to trigger a series of terrible doings by the girls who seem strangely feared by the dolls. Jemima starts to realise that the demonised dolls are extremely dangerous and Jemima finders herself wanting to defeat the dolls doing whatever it takes!
